Vote Scores reads Form N-PX filings as they were filed and adds counts and comparisons. Most differences between a page here and a filer's or a company's own understanding come from the filing itself.

Disputes about a filed vote

A vote, a share count, a category or a "for or against management" mark that is wrong in the filing can only be corrected by the filer, by amending its Form N-PX on EDGAR. Every filer page links to the filings it was built from. When an amendment (N-PX/A) is filed it replaces the earlier filing here at the next build. This site cannot alter a filing and does not adjudicate between a filer and a company.

Errors introduced by this site

If a figure here does not match the filing it cites (a mis-read field, two companies merged under one name, one company split in two, a meeting date folded into the wrong meeting, a proposal grouped with the wrong proposal, a registrant placed in the wrong family), write to the address on the contact page with the page URL and the filing. Processing errors are fixed in the code and the site is rebuilt. Expect a reply within five working days.

Names of people

The site publishes organisations only. Director-election wording is never stored, and proposal titles pass a person-name filter before they are printed. If a person's name appears anywhere on the site, report the URL: the text will be removed at the next build and the filter tightened.

Removal requests

Requests to remove a page about a natural person are honoured immediately. Funds, managers and public companies are organisations, and their filed voting records are public documents; requests to remove those are answered with the policy above.
